Mr. Kinney was born in Urbana, New York, on October 22, 1955, the son of the Kenneth and Mary Jane Ferguson Kinney. He retired from Corning Glass. Rod was a big NASCAR fan and loved model rockets. He was an active member of the Kanona Fire Department. He is survived by his mother Mary Jane Burkhard; his girlfriend Linda Spangenberg; a daughter Crystal (Brian) Bragg; two sons Rodrick “Ricky” Kinney and Phillip “PJ” Kinney; a brother Thomas Kinney.
