Mazie Lohrmann

LYONS - Mazie Marguerite Lohrmann, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at the Wayne County Nursing Home.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday February 15 at Woodlane Community Church, Newark. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Huron Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Wayne ARC or the Wayne County Humane Society.

Mazie was born March 22, 1936, in Elmira, the daughter of the late Emory and Augusta Skinkle. She formerly worked the Wayne ARC and later retired from the Wayne County Sheriff’s office, where she was a court attendant.

Mazie is survived by her children, William (Ann) Lohrmann and Wendy (Jim) Wedman; grandchildren, Gehrig (Sarah) Lohrmann, Nova Maines, Kurt Lohrmann, and Corrine House; great grandchildren, Hailey and Abigail Maines, Erica (Tyler) Cretin, Emily, Zane, Sawyer, and Tucker Lohrmann.
