Frank T. Amico Lyons—Frank Thomas Amico, 91, died on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the Newark Wayne Community Hospital. Friends may call on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 4 – 7 PM at the Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at St. Joseph the Worker (St. Michael’s), Phelps St., Lyons. Interment will be in South Lyons Cemetery immediately following mass. Mr. Amico was born in Lyons, NY on September 12, 1929 the son of the late Anthony and Felicia Amico (Bruno). He was an outstanding high school athlete for Lyons High School. Frank served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He and his wife Virginia were co-owners of Amico Cleaners in Lyons. Over the years, Frank and Virginia became successful antique dealers. Frank was a communicant of St. Michael’s Church in Lyons. A former member of the Lyons American Legion, Frank was also involved with the Sons of Italy in Geneva. He was a member of Wayne Hills Golf Club. Frank is survived by his two children Thomas (Roxanne) Amico of Allentown, PA and Jeanne Amico-Lester of Lyons; five grandchildren Kyle, Benjamin, and Thomas Lester and Frank and Nicollette Amico; four great grandchildren Ava, Virginia, Frankie and Leighton; a brother Vincent (Dorothy) Amico; a sister Mary Laudenslayer.
