David M. Flaherty

David M. Flaherty Lyons—David M. Flaherty, 76, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Rochester General Hospital. A private graveside service will be held at Sampson Veterans Cemetery. David was born on August 30, 1947, in Rochester, the son of the late David F. and Doris Cope Flaherty. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines in Vietnam. He was a member of the Marine Corp League. After the service, he worked managing grocery stores and retired from Super Duper in Seneca Falls. In his spare time, he loved fishing, cooking and trips to the Casino. Mr. Flaherty is survived by his wife 39 Years Cynthia; a son Patrick Flaherty; three daughters Jessica (Jose) Agnello, Colleen (Christopher) Blieden, Amanda (Andrew) Garner; seven grandchildren Lydia, Maddy, Abbey, Hannah, Edie, Jacob, Erin; a sister Donna Flaherty Rowe. www.keysorfuneralhomes.com
