Lovie V. Flowers

Red Creek Lovie V. Flowers, 83, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 11, 2013. Family and friends may call on Friday (May 17) from noon to 1 p.m. at the Church of God by Faith, 5563 Main Street, Sodus Center, NY, where a funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Penfield. Lovie V. will be remembered for her 45 years of providing fresh vegetables at Rochester's Public Market. Lovie V. is survived by her 8 children, Dale (Kristen) Flowers, Shearrie (Nancy) Flowers, Virginia (Lenward) Breedlove, Martha (James) Green, Leatrice Flowers, Louise Flowers, Connie Lynn Flowers, and Alexander Flowers; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 40 years, CV Flowers and son, Melvin Flowers. Arrangements were entrusted to Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, Red Creek.
