John P. Kurak Jr.

Martville John P. Kurak, Jr., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at his home. Family and friends may call on Friday (June 7) from noon to 2 pm at Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, 6816 Church St., Red Creek, where a funeral service will follow at 2 pm. Burial will be in Springbrook Cemetery, Sterling. For those wishing memorials may be made to a charity of your choice in Jack's memory. Jack was born on July 4, 1943 in Syracuse, a son to the late John P. and Helen M. Yavorske Kurak. He enjoyed fishing, playing card games, hanging out with friends and drinking his Budweiser. He is survived by his daughters, Jenni Kurak of Fulton and Michelle (William) Kurak of NJ; 4 grandchildren, Alexis, Alyssa, Nadia and Noelle; siblings; and several nieces and nephews.
