Lyons Van "Foots" L. Price, 81, of Maple Street passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. Family and friends may call on Monday (June 24) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday (June 25) at 11 am. For those wishing, memorials may be made to Fellowship of Faith Church, 1939 Stokes Road Lyons, NY 14489 in his memory. Foots was born on March 3, 1932 in Little Orleans, MD a son to the late Luther and Anna Mary Fletcher Price. He retired from construction work in 1992. Foots enjoyed hunting, fishing and going out on the boat. He was also a member of the Lyons VFW. He is survived by his wife Janis of 49 years; 6 children, Teresa (George) Heaton of GA, Van (Alice) of Savannah, David (Tracy) of Clyde, Eve (Chris) Austin of Clyde, Julia Wirth of Lyons and Pattie (Dennis) Jones of Newark; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; siblings Ken (Doris) Norris, George Price, Hope Austin, Marlyn Rouse, Freda Kise, Jeannie Gates and Jack Price; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Carl and Donald and sisters, Ethel, Julia, Edna and Ruby.
