Alice Smith

Wolcott Alice W. Smith, 83, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at the Wayne County Nursing Home. Family and friends may call on Tuesday (July 9) from 11 to 12:30 pm at Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, 6816 Church St., Red Creek, where a funeral service will follow at 12:30. Burial will be in Huron Evergreen Cemetery. For those wishing memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association or WAVAC in her memory. Alice was born on March 25, 1930 in Fulton, a daughter to the late Harold and Irene Horton Wirth. She was a member of the Wolcott United Methodist Church and enjoyed to play cards and go bowling. Alice is survived by her 2 children, Rob (Sharon) Yarrow of Wolcott and Lisa (Kenneth) Wamsley of TX; 4 grandchildren, Ryan, Kayla, Jeremy and Derek; sister, Cynthia Ann Younglove of Lyons; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Virgel O. Smith and 2 brothers, Lawrence "Bud" and Dee Wirth.
