Lawrence Nelson Rice, Jr.

Lyons Lawrence Nelson Rice, Jr., 32, died unexpectedly Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Strong Memorial Hospital. Family and friends may call Sunday (July 14) from 2 to 6 pm at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons. A graveside service will be held Monday (July 15) 1 pm at South Lyons Cemetery. For those wishing, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association in his memory. JR "Beetle" was born June 15, 1981 in Newark, a son to Lawrence and Diane Lyon Rice. He currently worked with Dobbins Construction in Lyons. He is survived by his fiance', Nichole of Lyons; 5 children, Cameron, Haylie, Riley, Jakob and Austin; parents, Larry and Diane Rice of Lyons; siblings, Loretta Rice of Elbridge, John Rice of Lyons and Rosemary Rice of Lyons; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
