Anna C. Peeters

Martville Anna C. Peeters, 87, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2013, at The Homestead Nursing Home in Penn Yan. Family and friends may call on Wednesday (Sept. 11) from 11-1 p.m. at Keysor Funeral Home, 11362 South St., Cato, where a funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Cato. Anna was born on August 23, 1926 in Holland, a daughter to the late John and Petronella VanStrien. She then moved to Canada in 1947 and came to the United States in 1961. Anna loved sewing and doing crafts. She is survived by her 2 sons, Adrianus (Mary) of Martville and Johannes of Newark Valley; 6 grandchildren, Lisa, Michael, Brian, Andrea, Johanna and Melanie; 9 great-grandchildren; several siblings and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Martin in 1991.
