Joanne E. Pettit

North Rose Joanne E. Pettit, 82, of Ann Lee Drive, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Newark-Wayne Hospital. Family and friends may call Saturday (Sept. 21) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, 6816 Church St., Red Creek, where a funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Springbrook Cemetery, Sterling. Memorials may be directed to the DeMay Living Center, 100 Sunset Dr., Newark, NY 14513 in Joanne's memory. Joanne was born May 26, 1931 in Oswego, a daughter to the late Herbert E. and Arlene Greff Bacon. She was employed by Suter & Levitt in Webster as a Dental Hygienist for many years. She is survived by her husband Clifton, of 63 years; 3 children, Larry (Jackie) Pettit of FL, Jan Jacque (Richard Daddazio) of Livonia and Craig (Jodi) Pettit of TN; and 2 grandchildren, Jayna and Maryn.
