Edward Pople

Cato Edward "Gene" Pople, 91, of Mechanic Street, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013 at his home. Gene was born on July 31, 1922 in Cato, a son to the late Lester and Margaret Pople. He retired from PROPAC in Red Creek. He is survived by his two children, Kathy (Donald) Hoyt of Cato, and John (Joy) Pople of Baldwinsville; five grandchildren, Michael (Trina) Hoyt, Pamela (Kane) Lloyd, Peter (Christine) Hoyt, Stacy (Aaron) Davis, and Jason Pople; five great-grandchildren, Britny, LiErin, Benjamin, McKenna and Brittany, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen F. Pople in 2012, and a brother, Fred Pople. Family services will be private; burial will be Union Hill Cemetery, Cato.
