Nancy L. Mabels

Rose Nancy L. Mabels, 93, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Blossom View Nursing Home. Family and friends may call on Friday (Oct. 18) from 6 to 8 pm and Saturday (Oct. 19) from 10 to 11 am followed by a funeral service at 11 am, at Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home, 5025 Main St., North Rose. Burial will be in Rose Cemetery. For those wishing memorials may be made to Rose Ambulance, P.O. Box 63 Rose, NY 14542, in her memory. Nancy was born on April 24, 1920 in Artemus, PA a daughter to the late William and Sarah Morris Shipley. She retired from Parker-Hannifin in Clyde. Nancy was a member of Oasis and attended Sunnyside Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Alan) Barney of North Rose; 3 granddaughters, Mandy (Rich) Hulett of VT, Jill (Paul) Burress of Henrietta and Heather (Andreas) Gimenez of TX; 5 great-grandchildren Julia, Evan, Zorah, Xander and Diego; brother, William "Junior" (Renee) Shipley of Clyde; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, John in 2002, daughter, LaVonne Mabels in 1985, 2 sisters, Anne Loveless and Rhea Poole and 2 brothers, Ken and Clyde Shipley.
