Christopher Congdon

Lyons Christopher David Congdon, 50, of Lyons, N.Y., suffered a heart attack on the evening of Friday, November 1, 2013. Chris was born on October 1, 1963, in Lynwood, California. He graduated from Lyons High School in 1981, and continued on to get his business degree at Oswego University. Chris is the son of Lucy Congdon and the late Norman Congdon. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Kelly, his three children - Hannah, Casey, and Mackenzy - his brother, Stacy, and many nieces and nephews. Chris was a hardworking businessman and father, who would do anything to ensure the well-being of his family. His family loves and appreciates everything he has done for them, and words cannot explain how much he will be missed. His quick humor and spirit will live on in all who knew and loved him. There will be calling hours on Friday (November 8), from 5 pm to 8 pm at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St, Lyons. In lieu of flowers, donations will be greatly appreciated, to a scholarship fund being set up at Lyons High School in Chris' memory.
