Lyons Russell E. DeGelleke, 74, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2013 at home surrounded by his family. Family services will be private. Burial will be in Sodus Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be to Hospice Lifetime Care, Lyons Ambulance or the Wayne County Humane Society in his memory. Russell was born June 14, 1939 in Sodus, a son to the late Gordon and Bertha Wilcox DeGelleke, Sr. He was a lifelong truck driver, retiring after 52 years. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rosemary (Felker); 2 children, Brad (Lynn) DeGelleke of Marion and Jenell (Mike) Gensler of Lyons; 2 grand-daughters, Trista (Jamie) Wing of Pultneyville and Sarena DeGelleke of Marion; 3 great-grand-daughters, Haeden, Adelyn and Rylin; favorite cat, Sallie and several nieces and nephews.
