Dorothy M. Foltz

Cato Dorothy M. Foltz, 94, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Auburn Memorial Hospital. Family and friends may call on Wednesday (Nov. 27) from 11 to 1 pm at Keysor Funeral Service, 11362 South Street, Cato, where a funeral service will follow at 1 pm. Burial will be in Monumental Grove Cemetery, Meridian. For those wishing, memorials may be made to Literacy Volunteers of Cayuga County, 17 Nelson St. Auburn, NY 13021 in her memory. Dorothy was born on August 13, 1919 in Carthage, a daughter to the late Edgar and Colice Caulfield Sayer. She enjoyed her flowers and painting. Dorothy was a literacy volunteer for 25 years and was a 4H leader for many years. She is survived by her 5 children, Jacqueline (Richard) Hinman of Jordan, Kathleen Donaghey of Auburn, Ronald (Judy) McKinley of WI, Judy (Emanuel) Fedrizzi of ME and Suzanne (Eric) Ray of Meridian; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 1 brother, William Sayer of CO and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her 1st husband, Francis McKinley in 1964; 2nd husband, Wayne Foltz in 1988; sister, Judy Sherrod; brother Colin Sayer; 2 grandsons, John Donaghey and James McKinley and son-in-law, Jack Donaghey.
