Red Creek Lois E. Pitcher, 85, was called home on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 after an extended illness. Family and friends may call Saturday (Feb. 22) from 11 am to 2 pm at Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, 6816 Church St., Red Creek, where a funeral service will follow at 2 pm. Spring burial will be in Southside Cemetery, Red Creek. Memorials may be made to the Red Creek Westbury United Methodist Church in her memory. Lois was born May 18, 1928 in Weedsport, the fourth of eight children to the late Cecil and Bernice Brown Rowley. She was a familiar face at Pitcher's Red & White, was in Community Players, a member of the Red Creek Westbury United Methodist Church and a charter member of the TWITS. Predeceased by her husband Richard in 2008, sister, Norma Behm, brother, Cecil Rowley, Jr., and son-in-law David Soule. Survived by her 3 daughters, Bonnie (David) Hall of Red Creek, Sue McGuire of Fl and Linda (David) Sachel of Volney; 7 grandchildren, Kristopher, Erin, Brittany, Lucas, Jeffrey, Katelin and Timothy; 4 great-grandchildren, Kobe, Kamryn, Hunter and Blakely; 4 sisters, Marion "Bet" Smith, Phyllis Walter, Barbara Emerson and Janice (George) Minturn all of Port Byron; brother, Donald (Shirley) Rowley of Fl; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
