Howard Smith, Jr.

Wolcott Howard Smith, Jr., 87, of Stringer Rd., passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 at Newark Wayne Community Hospital. Family and friends may call Thursday (Mar. 27) from 6 to 8 p.m. at Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home, 5025 Main St., North Rose, where a funeral service will be held Friday (Mar. 28) at 11 a.m. Spring burial will be in Huron Evergreen Cemetery. Howard was born October 16, 1926 in Clearville, PA, in the Mann Township, a son to the late Howard and Elizabeth Crawford Smith. He retired from Merlo Construction in Johnstown, PA. He is survived by his wife June of 69 years; 5 children, Sandra Clark of PA, Lyle Smith of Wolcott, Daniel Smith of Wolcott, Renee Smith of Wolcott and Teresa (Charles) Jarrett of Wolcott; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
