Lyons and Nashua, NH David Barnes, Jr. David Barnes Jr. passed away at age 68 in Nashua, New Hampshire, his beloved adopted state, on Saturday, March 22, 2014. He was laid to rest in Nashua on Monday, March 24. A memorial service to remember and honor his life will be held at Lyons United Methodist Church, William St., Lyons, NY on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 11:30 AM. Mr. Barnes was born in Lyons, NY on May 28, 1945 to David Barnes Sr., and EssieMae (Walker) Barnes. He is survived by his mother, a son Jeremy Barnes, grandson Noah Barnes and three sisters: Alice Barnes Childs (Charlie), Thelma Barnes Hiscock and LillieMae Barnes Gladden. He also leaves several nephews and cousins and many friends who loved him. He was predeceased by his father David Barnes Sr. and his brother Damon Barnes.
