Carl B. Klaben

Weedsport Carl B. Klaben, 87, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Matthew House in Auburn. Family and friends may call on Sunday (Apr. 13) from 2 to 4 pm at Keysor Funeral Service, 11362 South St., Cato. Spring burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Jordan. For those wishing, memorials may be made to the Matthew House, 43 Metcalf Rd. Auburn, NY 13021, in his memory. Carl was born on November 13, 1926, in Syracuse, a son to the late Charles and Mary Klaben. Carl was employed for many years for the Syracuse Post Standard and retired from Jordan-Elbridge Schools as a custodian. He is survived by his wife Mary; 3 siblings, Rosemary Piedmonte, Paul Klaben and Loretta (Richard) DeNeve, several nieces and nephews.
