Albert L. Pero

Cato/Liverpool Albert L. Pero, 84, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Auburn Nursing Home. Family and friends may call on Thrusday (May 15) from 4 tp 6 pm at Keysor Funeral Service, 11362 South St., Cato, where a funeral service will follow at 6 pm. For those wishing memorials may be made to Alzeihmer's Association or the Humane Scoiety in his memory. Al was born on June 5, 1929 in Syracuse, a son to the late Albert and Lena Hunter Pero. He was an independent truck driver for many years and then joined and retired from Gypsum Express where he was recongized for several saftey awards. Al enjoyed farming, tractors and hauling doubles. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; 5 children, Sharon (James) Blowers of Weedsport, Dr. Andrew (Sue) Mazzoli of SC, Louis Mazzoli of FL, Timothy Mazzoli of Liverpool and Michelle (William) Stone of Syracuse; 18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 2 brothers, Richard and William Pero.
