Marilyn B. Minier

Lyons Marilyn B. Minier, 84, of Sohn-Alloway Rd. passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at DeMay Living Center in Newark. Family and friends may call Monday (July 14) from 11 am to 1 pm at The First Presbyterian Church, 11 Queen St., Lyons, where a funeral service will follow at 1 pm. Burial will be in Sodus Rural Cemetery, Sodus. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Lyons or to the Humane Society of Wayne County, 1475 County House Rd., Lyons, NY 14489 in her memory. Marilyn was born February 8, 1930 in Newark, a daughter to the late William J. and Mabel Robinson Bartle. She retired from the State of New York Unified Court System in 1992, working for Family Court in Lyons. She was a long time member and Elder of First Presbyterian Church of Lyons. Predeceased by her husband LaVerne in 1980. She is survived by her 4 children, Donna Jo Minier of SC, son, Michael Minier (Diane Protano) of RI, Tracy (Brent) Keeton of Wolcott and Marialyce (David) Steinberg of WA; 4 grandchildren, Jayson Keeton, Adam (Brittany Brooks) Keeton, Kelsey Minier and Tyler Steinberg; 2 sisters, Nancy (William) Horch of Lyons and Patricia Blondell of Hornell; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
