Newark Craig Brown, 55, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2014 at DeMay Living Center, Newark. A memorial service will be held on Saturday (July 26) 1 pm at House of Praise, 210 East Ave. Newark, NY. Craig was born October 13, 1958, in Raleigh, Mississippi, a son to the late Otis Craft and Alice Brown. He enjoyed body building, boxing and working on cars. Craig loved playing football with his friends. He is survived by his significant other, Becky Tyler; 4 children, Lakisha Brown of Newark, Alice (Jose) Gachuzo-Colin of AK, Marcia (Rasheema) Wynn of Williamson and Jason Brown of Sodus; 5 grandchildren, Jezakia, Javier, Ja'maya, Jamal and Elijah; 2 brothers, Ron (Robin) Brown of Newark and Tony Craft of Newark and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements were entrusted to Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, Lyons.
