Betty Mae Helstrom

Lyons Betty Mae Helstrom, 74, a resident of the Wayne County Nursing Home, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014. Family and friends may call Saturday (Aug 16) from noon to 2 pm at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons, where a funeral service will follow at 2 pm. Burial will be in South Lyons Cemetery. Betty was born November 4, 1939 in Lyons, a daughter to the late Lewis and Hazel Sipes Swann. She was a secretary for Glider Oil Company in Lyons. She is survived by her son, Steven (Karen) Helstrom of Newark; daughter, Laurie Thomas of Lyons, 4 grandchildren, Brandon, Rachel, Courtney and Daniel; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Daniel Swann of Auburn and Ralph Swann of Newark; nieces and nephews.
