Robert E. Rigdon, Sr.

Victory Robert E. Rigdon, Sr., 67, passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at Upstate University Hospital after an extended battle with cancer. Family and friends may call on Tuesday (Sept. 9) from 4 to 7 pm at Keysor Funeral Service, 11362 South St., Cato. A funeral service will be held Wednesday (Sept. 10) 11 am at Armour of Light Baptist Church, 11949 State Route 38 in Victory. Burial will be in Victory Union Cemetery. Robert was born July 26, 1947 in Leesburg, FL, a son to Robert L. and Beatrice Mattison Rigdon. He retired from Allied Chemical in Solvay. He is survived by his wife Patricia of 43 years; 5 children, Douglas (Rebecca), Robert, Jr., Luke (Amy), Gary (Tabitha) and Elaine; 12 grandchildren, Amber, Emily, Robert III, Dawn, Gary, Jr., Max, Jasmine, Precious, Baby Katie, Jason, Mariah and Shana; 2 great-grandchildren, Hunter and Ethan; 2 sisters, Minnie of VT and Gail of TX; several nieces, nephews and extended family. www.keysorfuneralhomes.com
