Margaret D. Filippello

Lyons Margaret D. Filippello, 76, of Layton St., passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014. Calling hours will be held Saturday (Sept 27) from 1 to 4 pm at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons, where a funeral service will be held Monday (Sept 29) at 11 am. Burial will be in South Lyons Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Wayne County, 1475 County House Rd., Lyons, NY 14489. Margaret was born December 30, 1937 in Livonia Center, NY, a daughter to the late Frank and Jennie Gugino Muscato. She worked for Foldpac for over 20 years, and during her retirement she worked with the Head Start Program in Lyons and Newark. She was a creative woman, and a passionate and talented quilter. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She is survived by her husband Ralph of 55 years; 3 children, Kelly (Gary) Volkmar of CO, Michael (Tricia) Filippello of Canandaigua, and Steven Filippello of Clifton Springs; 2 grandchildren, Alicia Darcangelis and David Darcangelis and family; sister, Mary Harvey of Livonia; brother, William (Barbara) Muscato of Lima; several nieces and nephews. www.keysorfuneralhomes.com
