Shirley A. Whiting Archambo

Cato Shirley A. Whiting Archambo, 77, long-time resident of Weedsport currently a resident in Syracuse, passed away at home on Sunday, November 16, 2014. Family and friends may call Thursday (Nov. 20) from noon to 2 pm at Keysor Funeral Service, 11362 South St., Cato, where a funeral service will follow at 2 pm. Burial will be in Weedsport Rural Cemetery. Shirley was born December 24, 1936 in Ogdensburg, a daughter to William S. and Mary C. LaRose Whiting. She worked at General Electric in Syracuse for many years, loved to crochet and loved her animals. She was predeceased by her husband Howard in 2002, brother, William and sister, Jean Hutt. Shirley is survived by 4 children, Burton F. Derouchie, Jr. of Syracuse, Cynthia Derouchie of Syracuse, Kim Thill of GA and Sherri (Robert) Ernenwein of NC; 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson; brother, Gary Whiting and sister, Linda, both of Massena. www.keysorfuneralhomes.com
