Ruth Dalton

Cato Ruth Dalton, 92, of Hillview Dr., passed away, Sunday, November 23, 2014. A memorial service will be held Tuesday (Nov.25) 2 pm at Keysor Funeral Service, 11362 South St., Cato. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Cato. Contributions may be made to CIMVAC, PO Box 97, Cato, NY 13033 or to Lang Memorial Library. Ruth was born March 3, 1922 in the Town of Ira, a daughter to Ogden and Pearl VanPatten. She enjoyed travel, golf, bowling and time with her grandchildren. She was employed through the years at Cato-Meridian Elementary School as a secretary. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Paul in 1999. She is survived by her daughter, Terry Hanford (John Decker) of Baldwinsville; 2 grandchildren, Paul Hanford of Baldwinsville and Beth (Timothy) Myer of Pennellville; 1 great-granddaughter, Caedance Myer; 2 sisters, Jane Wilson and Pearl Menzies; 2 sisters-in-law, Dorathy VanPatten and Betty VanPatten; several nieces and nephews. www.keysorfuneralhomes.com
