Nelson DeMay

Lyons Nelson DeMay, 90, of Wayne Center Rose Rd., passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014. Family and friends may call Tuesday (Dec. 2) from 3 to 6 pm at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St, Lyons, where a funeral service will be held Wednesday (Dec. 3) at 10 am. Burial will be in Marion Rural Cemetery. Nelson was born December 6, 1923 in East Williamson, a son to Raymond and Susan Zonneville DeMay. He retired from Newark Developmental Center. He was an avid car buff, loved traveling in his motor home and had many artistic talents. For those wishing, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620 in his memory. Predeceased by his brother, Roger. Nelson is survived by his wife Caroline of 58 years; son, Roland of Newark; 2 granddaughters, Jessica and Hollie; brother, LaVerne DeMay of Wolcott; sister-in-law, Evelyn DeMay of E.
