Richard F. Wheeler

Red Creek Richard F. Wheeler, 76, of Mixer Rd., passed away Thursday, December 04, 2014 at Syracuse Veterans Hospital. Family services will be private. Richard was born April 24, 1938 in Syracuse, a son to the late James and Marion Cheeseman Wheeler. He was a veteran of the Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He retired from Con-Rail out of the Rochester area. Predeceased by his wife Jacqueline in 2011. Survived by 6 children, Belinda (Craig) Tucker of CT, John Lindsley of Hannibal, Dawn (Steve) Ford of Sterling, Donna Lindsley of Oswego, Richard Lindsley of FL and Ronald Lindsley of Sterling; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Wheeler of TN; sister, Charlene Samson of Savannah; several nieces and nephews; and his dog Marvin.
