Janice E. Gabrielse

Lyons Janice E. Gabrielse, 90, a resident of the Wayne County Nursing Home, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015. Janice was born August 25, 1924 in Lyons, a daughter to Arthur and Clara Buisch Facer. She graduated from Lyons High School in 1941 and she and her husband George owned and operated a fruit farm in Lyons all their lives. Family and friends may call Saturday (Jan. 31) from 2 pm to 3 pm at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St. Lyons, where a funeral service will follow at 3 pm. Burial will be in South Lyons Cemetery. For those wishing, memorials may be made to Lyons United Methodist Church, 93 William St. in Lyons or to Wayne County Nursing Home, 1529 Nye Rd., Lyons, NY 14489 in her memory. She is survived by her son Arthur of Florida; granddaughter, Megan (David) Cannon of TX; grandson, Eric (Tiffanie) Gabrielse of NC; 3 great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Annelise and Titan; and brother, Glenn (Mary) Facer of Lyons.
