Lyons Dorothy W. Oakleaf, 93, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015. Calling hours will be held Friday (Feb. 6) from 4 to 6 pm at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St. Lyons. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday (Feb. 7) 11 am at First Lutheran Church, 35 Broad St. Lyons. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Russell in 1991 and her nephew, Richard Oakleaf. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews, and many friends. She graduated from Lyons Union School in 1938 and attended the Rochester School of Commerce, graduating in 1940 and was a medical secretary in Rochester. She worked for H.B. Lauster & Son for 40 years. Dorothy was active in the Town Republican Committee and Wayne County Historical Society. She loved to play bridge, and was an avid bird watcher and gardener. Dorothy was a lifetime member of the First Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church or to a charity of choice.
