Wolcott Ruth Pahl Yates, 98, died on Tuesday, February 03, 2015 at the Rochester Episcopal Church Home, surrounded by her loving family. Family and friends may call Friday (Feb. 6) from 3 to 4 pm at Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home, 5025 Main St. North Rose, where a funeral service will follow at 4 pm. Spring burial will be in Glenside Cemetery, Wolcott. Memorial donations may be made to the Episcopal Church Home, 505 Mt. Hope Ave. Rochester, NY 14620. Ruth was born September 5, 1916 in Wolcott, the daughter of Clarence and Ethel Vincent. She graduated from Leavenworth Central School in Wolcott, and attended Syracuse Business School. She worked for many years at O & C in Wolcott and then worked for Shaffer Ross in Webster. She was predeceased by her first husband Reginald Pahl, her second husband, Kenneth Yates, and 3 brothers, Edward, Harold and Clarence Vincent. Survived by her daughter, Mary Pahl Norris of Fairport, granddaughter, Mary Alice (Randy) Scott of Sodus; grandson, Robert (Cindy) Norris of Savannah; 7 great-grandchildren, Adam J. and Kristen Scott, Zachary, Angela, Tyler, Eva and Quintin Norris; and several nieces and nephews. www.keysorfuneralhomes.com
