Donald R. Palandro

Savannah Donald R. Palandro, 81, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Geneva General Hospital after a short illness. Family and friends may call Wednesday (Feb 18) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons, where a funeral service will be held Thursday (Feb. 19) at 1 pm. Burial will be in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. Don was born December 26, 1933 in Seneca Falls, a son to Felice and Elizabeth Varacalli Palandro. He was a veteran of the Army during the Korean Conflict and retired from Matthews International in Seneca Falls. He was predeceased by his wife Linda in 2001, brother, Dino Palandro and sister, Jennie Jarnot. Survived by his sister, Assunta "Sue" Palandro of Manhattan; niece, Elizabeth (Don) Crest; nephew, John Jarnot; 6 great-nephews, Donald, Corey, James, Jason, Joseph and Matthew; 3 step-children, Greg (Diane) Butler of Lyons, Dawn (Tim) Almekinder of Lyons, and Jeff (Stacy) Butler of Lyons; 6 step-grandchildren, Bradley (Maggie), Josh, Jordon, and Nick Almekinder; and Amanda and Amber Butler; 2 step-great-grandchildren, Estella Marie and Eliza Ellen. www.keysorfuneralhomes.com
