Cato/Baldwinsville Elizabeth J. Green, 87, currently of Radisson, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015. Family and friends may call Wednesday (Feb 18) from 3 to 7 pm at Keysor Funeral Service, 11362 South St., Cato. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday (Feb. 19) 11 am at St. Patrick's Church, Mechanic St., Cato. Spring burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Cato. Betty was born February 24, 1927 in Watertown, a daughter to the late Malcolm and Alice Lee Burns. Betty was a 1944 Valedictorian graduate of Cato-Meridian High School. She was a secretary for the former Schuler Potato Company in Cato for 33 years and retired from Cato-Meridian Schools in the business office. She was an avid Square Dancer for 30 years, enjoyed their cottage in Fair Haven and home in Florida. Betty played organ for St. Patrick's Church in Cato for many years. Predeceased by her sister, Madeline M. Taber. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband Burton of 67 years; nieces, Janice (Ken) Lee of Cato, Teresa "Toffie" (Richard) Blais of Cato, Michelle (Max) Rodriquez of Cato,; nephew, Douglas (Teresa) Taber of Syracuse; several great and great-great nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Carl Green of Baldwinsville. www.keysorfuneralhomes.com
