Richard Dorge

Lyons Richard Dorge, 87, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 at the Clifton Springs Nursing Home from a long illness. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday (Mar. 26) from 3 to 5 pm at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons. An informal celebration of life service will follow at 5 pm. Burial will be in Buffalo City Cemetery in Hamburg. For those wishing, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Wayne County, 1475 County House Rd., Lyons, NY 14489 in Richie's memory. Richie was born November 18, 1927 in Buffalo. He retired from the Wayne County Nursing Home after many years of employment. After retirement, he spent much time helping area businesses. He loved to work and be helpful to others. Richie is survived by his cousin William Dorge of Buffalo, and many special friends in the Lyons area. He will be missed by all of them.
