Eugene R. Almekinder

Lyons Eugene R. Almekinder, 86, of Maple St., Rd., passed away suddenly Thursday, March 26, 2015. At Gene's request there will be no services. Gene was born August 5, 1928 in Rochester, a son to William J. and Rose Guski Almekinder. His passion was for farming and his family. He is survived by his wife, Marge; 6 children, Leisa (Kim) Coutier of Bloomingdale, Daniel (Melinda) of Savannah, Kerry (Darlene) of Lyons, Christopher (Chuck Ortiz) of FL, Timothy (Dawn) of Lyons and Melissa (Robert) Plouse of Lyons; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
