Lloyd E. Fowler

Lyons Lloyd E. Fowler, 96, formerly of Catherine St., passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015. Calling hours will be held Wednesday (Apr. 1) from 4 to 6 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Sohn-Alloway Rd., Lyons, with a service to follow. Burial will be in South Lyons Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the House of John, 14 Spring St., Clifton Springs, NY 14432 in his memory. Lloyd was born November 19, 1918 in the Town of Rose, a son to Andrew J. and Ethel Steitler Fowler. He was an area farmer and retired from NYS Department of Transportation on the Canal System in Lyons. He was a life member of the Grange and loved horses. Predeceased by his wife Helena in 2005 and brother, Ralph in 2005. He is survived by his 2 sons, Joseph (Elizabeth) of MT and Paul (Diane) of Victor; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
