Rose/Clyde Helen C. Carr, 94, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 6, 2015. Family and friends are welcome to celebrate her life with her family on Friday (Apr. 10) from 1 to 2 pm at Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home, 5025 Main St., North Rose, where a funeral service will follow at 2 pm, officiated by Rev. Howard Carr. Burial will be in Rose Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice on Helen's behalf. Helen was born October 6, 1920 in Rose, a daughter to the late Clarence and Ethel (Bain) Converse. In her younger days she loved to work in her flower garden, cook fantastic meals from leftovers and make beautiful wedding and birthday cakes. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by daughter, Sharyn Caster of Waterloo; 2 sons, Frederick (Mary) Carr of Clyde and David (Sherry) Carr of Newark; grandchildren, Francis Ryan, Patrick (Marie) Ryan, Timothy Ryan, Shannon Ryan (Joe Tighe), David (Courtney) Carr, Jason Carr and Kelly (Vanessa) Carr-Brown; many great and great-great grandchildren. She will also be remembered by her sisters, Dorothy Staugh of Florida and Eleanor Converse of Clyde; several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and several extended family.
