Victory Ellis A. Hall , 91, of Broadway Rd., died Monday April 27, 2015 at his home just six days after the passing of his wife of 71 years Elleanor (Mack) Hall. Family and friends may call on Saturday (May 02) from 1 to 3 pm at Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, 6816 Church St., Red Creek, where a funeral service will follow at 3 pm. Burial will be in Victory Union Cemetery. For those wishing, memorials may be made to Matthew House, 43 Metcalf Dr., Auburn, NY 13021 or a charity of choice in his memory. Ellis was born on September 30, 1923 in the town of Victory, a son to the late Maurice and Susie (Spafford) Hall. He and his wife's 72nd wedding anniversary would have been April 24. Ellis was a successful farmer and organized the first agriculture district in Cayuga County, it was one of the first in New York State. He took great pride in his family and farm. He is survived by 5 children; David (Bonnie) Hall of Westbury, Nancy Craine of Auburn, Ronald (Julia) Hall of Black River, Steven Hall of Red Creek and Michael (Michele) Hall of Victory; sister, Marjorie Benton; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
