John Rotach

Red Creek John "Doug" Rotach, 91, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Calling hours will be held Friday (May 8) from 1 to 2 pm at Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, 6816 Church St., Red Creek, where a funeral service will follow at 2 pm. Burial will be in Rose Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Caring Friends in Pittsford or to the Wounded Warrior Project in Doug's memory. Doug was born August 5, 1923 in the Town of Rose, a son to the late Frank and Mary Norris Rotach. He was a pilot in the Air Force and served 26 years active and reserve service. He owned and operated a TV sales and service business for many years from his shop in Red Creek. He trained and raced Alaskan Malamute sled dogs, raced snowmobiles, and loved working on and riding motorcycles. Predeceased by his brothers, Richard and Kenneth. He is survived by 2 sons, Douglas of Rose and Alan of Virginia; grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many loving friends. www.keysorfuneralhomes.com
