Margaret Schlede

Lyons Margaret Schlede, age 86, of Route 14, died peacefully on May 17, 2015 in Tampa, FL with her family by her side. A Graveside service will be held Thursday (May 21) 11 am at South Lyons Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Wayne County, 1475 County House Rd., Lyons, NY 14489. Margaret was born October 10, 1928 in Ilion, NY, the daughter of Frank and Sarah Lee Sterling. She was a teacher at Lyons Central School for 25 years. She was a member of the Historical Society, Humane Society, Garden Clubs and several bridge groups. She was predeceased by her husband, David A. Schlede in 2006. Margaret was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Schlede, M.D. and her husband, Joseph Krebs, M.D. of Tampa, FL; her son, David S. and his wife Kathy of Henrietta, NY; and grandson, Kevin Schlede Krebs of Seattle, WA.
