Milton M. Doty

Ira Milton M. Doty, 87, of North Rd., passed away Wednesday, June 03, 2015 at home with his family at his side. Family and friends may call on Sunday (June 7) from 2 to 5 pm at Keysor Funeral Service, 11362 South St., Cato, where a funeral service will be held Monday (June 8) at 10 am. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery. Predeceased by his wife Kathleen in 2008, son Carl, and granddaughter, Pamela Doty. He is survived by 6 children, Paul (Kay) of Ira, Robert (Sally) of Hannibal, Roger (Cindy) of Ira, Sharon (Don) Nihoff of Bethel, Kathy (Gerald) Hunter of Cato and Debra (Keith) Chesbro of Pennelville; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; 1 sister, Mabel Chase of Jordan; nieces, nephews and family friend, Elaine Malda. Milt was born October 13, 1927 in the Town of Ira, a son to Milton and Belle Kyle Doty. He was a life-long area farmer and worked for the Postal Service as a mail carrier for 20 years. His passion was for "Calling" at Round and Square dances.
