James W. Roberts

Wolcott James W. Roberts, 72, of Church St., passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at home after an extended illness with his family at his side. Family and friends may call Friday (July 10) from 10 am to 11 am at Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, 6816 Church St., Red Creek, where a funeral service will follow at 11 am. Burial will be in North Wolcott Cemetery. Jim was born March 30, 1943 in Wolcott, a son to Ellery and Gertrude Henecke Roberts. He was a veteran of the Army during the Vietnam Conflict and retired from IEC in Newark. He is survived by his wife Shirley; 2 sons, Jeff Roberts of Wolcott and Dennis Roberts of Wolcott; 2 grandchildren, Martin Roberts and Stephanie Vergason; brother, Ted (MaryAnn) Roberts of Wolcott; nieces and nephews.
