Martville Melody D. Sherman, 59, of Route 104, passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 at Upstate University Hospital after an extended illness. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in your area. A funeral service will be held Friday (July 24) 11 am at Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, 6816 Church St., Red Creek. Burial will be in Martville Cemetery. Melody was born June 24, 1956 in Chamblee, GA., a daughter to the late Roger and Betty Powell Schrader. She was employed at Red Creek High School as a Teacher's Aide. She is survived by her husband, Leonard; son, Corey (Sabrina) Sherman of Sterling; daughter, Kayla (Chris) Brown of Westbury; 10 grandchildren, sister, Saundra (Michael) Delmar of Wolcott; nieces and nephews.
