Reginald H. Wagemaker

Sodus Point Reginald H. Wagemaker, died Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Strong Memorial Hospital at the age of 96. At the family's request, calling hours will not be observed. A graveside service will be held Sunday (Aug 2) 3 pm at South Lyons Cemetery in Lyons. As a lifelong resident of the area, Reg was born in Sodus on October 20, 1918, a son of Wallace and Beatrice Raymer Wagemaker. He was a third generation apple grower in Wayne County known as Wagemaker & Son, Inc. He was a life-time member of the Masons, Elks Lodge (BPOE) in Lyons and the Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club. Reg was predeceased by his wife Alice (Patton), having been married for 60 years and sister, Eleanor Wagemaker. He is survived by his children, Joan Walls of W. Badene Springs, Indiana, 2 sons, Larry of Rochester and Wallace (Barbara) of San Antonio, Texas; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
