Ruth A. Lewis

North Rose Ruth A. Lewis, 70, of North Huron St., passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015 at DeMay Living Center in Newark. Family and friends may call Saturday (Aug. 8) from 1 to 3 pm at Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home, 5025 Main St., North Rose, where a funeral service will follow at 3 pm. Private burial will be at Ridge Chapel Cemetery in Williamson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ladies Auxiliary at the North Rose Fire Department or to Humane Society of Wayne County, 1475 County House Rd., Lyons, NY 14489 in Ruth's memory. Ruth was born August 22, 1944 in Bliss, NY, in the Town of Eagle, a daughter to the late George and Ellen Gubbins Lewis. She was a nurse's aide at the former Myers Community Hospital in Sodus. Predeceased by her brothers Donald, Jack, Duane and George Lewis, and sister, Tanice. She is survived by her companion, Albert Gent of North Rose; 2 brothers, Richard (Patricia) Lewis of Arcadia and Neil (Ann) Lewis of NJ; 4 sisters, Roberta (Robert) Claeys of Williamson, Shirley Lewis of Savannah, Marjorie (Jim) Morley of Wolcott and Luella Dominque of Clyde; several nieces and nephews.
