Corrine A. Kleisle

LYONS Corrine A. Kleisle passed away on Friday (August 7, 2015) at Clifton Springs Hospital at the age of 78. At the family's request calling hours will not be observed. A memorial service wil be held on Friday (August 14) at 11:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church, 35 Broad St., Lyons, N.Y. Memorials may be made to Wayne County Humane Society, 1475 County House Road, Lyons, N.Y., 14489. As a lifelong resident of the area, Corrine was born in Lyons, N.Y. on October 18, 1936, a daughter of the late Carl and Carolyn Tellier Mierke. She served the Village of Lyons for 26 years and later was elected Mayor of Lyons in 2005, for two terms. She was very involved in the New York State Conference of Mayors. She loved traveling with her husband, her family was the most important thing in her life. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Richard Kleisle of Lyons; her children, Patricia (Harry) Aunkst of Lyons, John (Sherry Vesely) Comella of Newark, Margaret Olson of Syracuse, Bonnie Rodman Kleisle of South Carolina, John (Jean) Kleisle of Webster; grandchildren, Zachary, Lucas, Bryan, Kristen Elizabeth, Kandice Holly, Daine, and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Corrine, Samuel, Francesca, Cecilia, Izaiah, Isabel, Jasiah, Gillian, Keigann, Nathen, Hunter and Maelacki; a brother, Ralph Mierke of Florida. Arrangements are by Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home in Lyons.
