Wolcott Evelyn May Laird, 86, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at Newark-Wayne Hospital. Family and Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday (Aug 29) at 1pm. at Safe Harbor Ministries, 6002 William Street Wolcott, NY 14590. Evelyn was on August 24, 1929 in Clay, NY, daughter of Harold and Eleanor Smith Currier. Memorials may be made to Humane Society of Wayne County 1475 County House Road, Lyons, NY 14489. She is survived by her husband, Leland of Wolcott, Daughter Linda (Donald) Frey of Wolcott, Grandchildren, Michelle Frey of Fla, Sherri Frey of Wolcott and Patricia (Shawn) Murray of Mohawk. Great-Grandchildren, Duane (Elisabeth) Poole of Wolcott, Chelsea Arliss of Clyde, Olivia and Brennan Murray of CA. brother, Joseph Currier of CA. Predeceased by her sister Ruth Walsh.
