Genevieve E. Rushin

Red Creek/Fulton Genevieve E. Rushin, 91, passed away Monday, September 07, 2015 with her loving family by her side. Family and friends may call on Wednesday (Sept. 9) from 4 to 7 pm at Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, 6816 Church St., Red Creek. Other services and burial will be at Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home in Bangor, PA. Mrs. Rushin was born December 25, 1923 in Jersey City, NJ, a daughter to Walter and Mary Poliskievicz Kwiecinski. She worked with her husband Leonard at their dentist office in Red Creek as an assistant. She loved to fish with her family, crochet and was involved in arts & crafts. Predeceased by her husband, Leonard Rushin, DDS, step-son, Andrew Rushin, step-daughter, Debra Rushin, 2 brothers, Chester and Steve Kwiecinski and 2 sisters, Anna Pensyl and Helen Resh. She is survived by son, Ronald (Vivienne) Rainey of CA; daughter, Regina (Peter) Lunkenheimer of Sterling; grandchildren, Bradley (Cara) Lunkenheimer of Wolcott, Jena Lunkenheimer of Sterling, Amanda (Mark) Tunnell of CA, Carolyn (Andrew) Soning of England and Daniel (Judith) Nehorai of FL; 9 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Gladys Kwiecinski of PA; several nieces and nephews.
